The LPYAA has a rich tradition in supporting Baseball in the Lake Placid Area at our very own home at the Fish & Game Athletic Fields! We offer programming from T-Ball through Majors in this classic spring sport.

Frequently Asked Questions
What equipment do we need?
Cleats are suggested for Rookies and up and must be rubber/molded (no metal allowed). Cups and jock are required for catchers and recommended for Minors and up. Each player should have their own glove. Bats and helmets are provided for practices and games from the association. Baseball bats must be USA approved bats (not USSSA or BBCOR).
Are scholarships available?
The LPYAA offers need-based scholarships upon request. Contact lpyaasports@gmail.com to inquire about funding options.

Baseball 2026
Registration is now open for Baseball season!
Our program exists to introduce, instruct, and promote sustained participation in sport for our local youth. We are committed to helping players develop their technical skills while cultivating a genuine love of the game.
Whether your child is picking up a glove for the first time or looking to build on previous experience, our focus remains on quality instruction and the long-term benefits of staying active in team sports.
We look forward to seeing our athletes back on the diamond this spring!
Baseball Season will Monday, April 27 (weather dependent).
Registration is open for beginning April 1.
The 2026 Fee structure has changed
$35 T-Ball (Grades Prek-4 & K). Practice M/W 5:30-6:15
$40 Rookies (Grades 1 & 2). Practice M/W 5:30-6:30
$50 Minors (Grades 3 & 4). Practice M/W ~5:30-7:00
$60 Majors (Grades 5&6). Practice T/Th ~5:30-7:00
